Storytelling campaigns are the First Love of the team at Phonethics. After working on campaigns for Axis Bank and several other brands, we were recently commissioned by DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund, one of India’s top performing mutual fund companies to create a simple but entertaining story around , their latest venture M-Invest. M-Invest helps consumers invest straight from their mobile phones.
After multiple meetings, script sessions and endless rounds of delicious cups of coffee at the DSP office at Nariman Point [with the added benefit of enchanting views of the downtown Mumbai skyline and the sea] our creative team came up with an idea that the team at DSP liked. Like all enjoyable projects, this short film benefited a lot from the clarity of vision that the client had which translated into a clear brief and benchmark for the Creative Director, Vishal Kashyap.
Vishal has always tried to vary the styles of animation that enhance the end story. The sound effects for the film were executed by Ranzen Jha, aBuddhist and talented music composer and sound designer who has been a long term collaborator on other Phonethics projects. Among other things this project has led to an increased visibility for us amongst the Finance sectors with many brands calling in to work on similar projects.
