A large and well established [more than 100 years old] Gems & Jewellery client has recently appointed the Phonethics Social media team to manage its social channels and promote their retail jewellery brand. As part of social media marketing activities carried out by the team, we have designed image based posts as well as created content themes for their products.
The client ran both social media campaigns as well as Google image ads to drive traffic to their web store. This is a challenging sector where digital brands like Caratlane have significant brand presence and trust. While most jewellery cos would like a slice of the online pie, traditional brands tend to have a conservative outlook towards digital investments, specially social media. In subsequent interactions on jobs that we did for the G&J industry we understood that there’s a solid business case for jewellery brands managing their store fronts and promoting them via social media marketing.
